Good news for Island households! You can now book a free in-depth home energy visit to help you save money, stay warm, and make your home more comfortable this winter.
The Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP) has arrived on the Isle of Wight — delivered locally by Green Isle of Wight CIC. This national service offers practical, one-to-one support designed to help residents reduce energy use and make homes warmer and more efficient.
What’s included?
- Assessment of how your home uses energy
- Personalised advice on cutting costs and staying warm
- Free energy-saving items installed, such as LED bulbs, radiator panels, and draught-proofing
All of this is completely free of charge.
Real support for real people
Your visit can also unlock further help — such as insulation, heating upgrades, or income advice. In some cases, help with boiler repairs or replacement white goods may also be available.
“We’re thrilled to be offering this service to everyone on the Island,” says Lisa Beaney, Director of Green Isle of Wight CIC. “These visits can make a real and immediate difference — not only helping people save money, but also making homes warmer, safer and more comfortable.”
