About the project

The Safe and Warm Scheme, delivered by Green Isle of Wight and funded by SGN, provides vital support to Island residents to help keep their homes safe, warm and energy-efficient.

The scheme offers free personalised energy advice, assistance with heating bills, the installation of carbon monoxide alarms, and minor home improvements such as draught-proofing and the supply of thermal curtains, blankets, and heaters.

Support is available for a limited time only. Even as the weather improves, residents are strongly encouraged to act now and take advantage of this opportunity.

Together, we are working to tackle fuel poverty and protect vulnerable households across our Island community.

“This project allows us to provide practical help and advice to Islanders to help keep them warm and safe. We would strongly encourage you to get in touch with us now, as this scheme won’t be available indefinitely, so now is the time to take action.”
