Green Isle of Wight Powers Up Winter Warmth

Familiar faces in a new Island Charity are thrilled to collaborate with Connect 4 Communities in offering essential support this winter. Lisa Beaney and Norman Arnold, representing Green Isle of Wight CIC, will be delivering in-home advice on energy reduction and maintaining warmth during the colder months. These seasoned individuals will offer practical help through improvements designed to keep homes warm.

The initiative includes convenient drop-in sessions, providing invaluable free advice, and a series of engaging cooking demonstrations. Lisa and Norman aim to guide participants on reducing bills and minimising food waste, all while showcasing innovative techniques like cooking with an energy-efficient air fryer.

Norman expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This collaboration is a fantastic example of how the Isle of Wight Council effectively channels resources to support Islanders facing winter challenges and beyond.” Join us in making a positive impact this season and into the future.
